are your opening times?
Tuesday - Saturday: 9.00am -
5.00pm
Closed: Sundays, Mondays & Bank Holidays
Is there parking near
your shop?
There is on
street parking and public car parks nearby. You can park your car
outside the shop on the Sydenham Street side to load and
offload.
Do you collect and
deliver?
We
can collect and deliver locally free of charge and can arrange
delivery of industrial machines in a wider radius by arrangement.

What branded names to do
you keep in stock?
We
have a good selection of well-known brands and models in the
showroom and are approved Janome, Jack, Juki and Wimsew stockists.
If there’s a particular brand or model that you are after we will
always be able to source one quickly for you and give you a price.
And buying direct from us means we can offer excellent face-to-face
back-up support and after sales service, something you just can’t
get if you buy online!
My grandmother used to
have one of those old black Singer hand machines. Do you come by
them at all?
Yes we
do, and we sell them in the showroom too. We are often asked if we
buy in vintage and antique sewing machines, and will be happy to
consider this if we felt they could be restored. We sell all kinds
of secondhand machines so if there is anything you are particularly
looking for please ask us.
Do you sell sewing
accessories and parts?
We stock a good range of spare parts and
accessories and can source specialist items from our reliable
suppliers nationwide.
Do you sell
haberdashery?
We stock
a good range of sewing aids including cottons and threads, zips,
bobbins, belts, machine oil and scissors etc.
How
much do you charge to service or repair a sewing
machine?
Almost all
machines are able to be brought back to good working order although
sometimes it’s uneconomical to have the work done. We will look at
your machine and give you a frank and honest appraisal and free
estimate with no obligation on your part to have the work
done.
Are your machines fully
guaranteed
All new
industrial machines carry a statutory 12 month warranty. All new
domestic machines have a minimum two years manufacturer’s warranty
which we handle should there be a problem. Any malfunction of glitch
with your machine will be sorted out by us personally in our
workshop.
